The Team
Meet Our Artists
Four internationally certified master tattoo artists, each with a distinct voice, a diverse portfolio, and a shared commitment to creating art that lasts a lifetime.
Founder & Lead Artist
Naveen
Naveen founded Irezumi in 2006 after completing his professional tattoo training at the Thailand Tattoo School in Hua Hin — one of Asia’s most respected institutions. With 18+ years of experience tattooing across styles, he is best known for his hyper-realistic portraits, intricate Japanese compositions, and custom concept designs that capture his clients’ stories with extraordinary detail. As the creative director of Irezumi, Naveen sets the studio’s artistic standards and mentors the next generation of Indian tattoo artists through the Irezumi Academy.
Senior Artist
Rinchen
Rinchen is Irezumi’s specialist in delicate, feminine and nature-inspired tattooing. Her fine line work has earned her a devoted following among clients who appreciate precision, softness and storytelling through minimal forms. She excels at florals, botanical compositions, geometric patterns and neo-traditional illustrations — executing each with a control and attention to detail that is immediately recognisable. Rinchen has been with Irezumi since 2014 and is one of the most sought-after fine-line tattoo artists in Chennai.
Artist
Vikram
Vikram’s work exists at the intersection of structure and spirit. His blackwork and dotwork compositions draw from sacred geometry, mandala traditions and dark illustrative aesthetics to produce tattoos that feel both ancient and contemporary. His technical precision in building complex symmetrical patterns — entirely freehand — has made him one of the most distinctive voices in the Irezumi team. Vikram works well with clients who want bold, permanent statements that hold their power for decades.
Artist
Prakash
Prakash brings vibrant, saturated colour into everything he creates. Whether he’s crafting a bold traditional sleeve, a delicate watercolour composition, or transforming a regrettable old tattoo into a stunning cover-up, Prakash’s command of pigment, shading and skin tone interaction sets him apart. He is Irezumi’s specialist in colour realism — an incredibly demanding technique that requires deep understanding of how ink behaves on Indian skin, an area he has spent years mastering. He is a favourite among clients wanting vivid, long-lasting colour work in Chennai.
